By using DiscDrifters, I saved $156/night in South Lake Tahoe compared to my buddy’s stay for a 3-night disc golf trip. That’s equivalent to 5 premium discs, a Zuca cart, and a steak dinner!

This is how I did it:

1. Go to discdrifters.com using a smartphone.

2. Search for “Bijou” using Find a Course.

3. Select the Hotel icon and search for hotels.  

DiscDrifters uses Hotellook to find the best deals which is typically Super Travel.  A membership is not required and there is no extra cost to the customer – DiscDrifters receives a commission on the backend.  I stayed at Harvey’s. The quality of hotel casinos in the area is not what it used to be but still had great food, service, and disc golf.  And you can’t beat the South Lake Tahoe views and activities!

We played two 27-hole rounds at Bijou Disc Golf course in perfect weather about a mile from South Lake Tahoe!  What a beautiful and well-kept course with stunning views of the Sierras and pine trees. It’s a technical par 3 course with challenging lines.  I scored a +6 and felt great about it!  This is a bucket-list course for all passionate disc golfers.

Bijou is not too far from Zephyr Cove Disc Golf course.  This is a more challenging mountain course with great views of Lake Tahoe and wild top-of-the-mountain shots!  I played this with my son last year.
